PC Asigna 3,3GB de ram a la BIOS y no encuentro solución | RECOMPENSA DE 1k NODOCOINS (si sube la dificultad, sube la recompensa)

Hola noderos, cuanto tiempo.

Hace unas semanas un conocido me dió un ordenador muy simple para que le instale el Windows y lo venda.
Hoy lo estuve probando, y veo un problema, el cual ya me pasó con otro ordenador. El problema es que asigna más ram de lo normal a la bios. No me preguntes porque, pero lo hace. Algo toca el tio, y no tengo ni puta idea.
En la siguiente foto, se puede ver que tengo 5, y hay 2.2 disponibles.

He encontrado esto "The problem may occur because some BIOS settings are incorrect. Check the BIOS settings to see whether the memory remapping feature is enabled. Memory remapping gives Windows access to more memory. You can enable the memory remapping feature in the BIOS by booting to the system setup."

Mirando un poco que es eso, he encontrado esto "From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Memory Options > Memory Remap. Select a setting. Remap All Memory—Makes all memory in the system available again on the next boot. No Action—Leaves any affected memory unavailable to the system."

Prueba a ver si esto tiene un mínimo de sentido

pues no mucho, en mi bios no veo nada de memory options ni memory remap. por si aca miro si se puede actualizar la bios.

tiene windows 32 bits? "A 32-bit process can't address exactly 4GB of memory in practice (some address space overhead is required by the operating system), so it won't run. Depending on the OS, it can probably run a process that needs > 2GB and < 3-4GB." igual le esta limitando.

tambien por lo que veo puede ser configuracion de bios

son 2 cosas que con las que me encontre hace tiempo, si no es nada de esto ni idea

es verdad. tiene 32 bits. puede ser ese el limitante

1. Ese PC posiblemente tenga más años que tú. Es chatarra electrónica, si no son coleccionistas eso ya se despieza para materiales.
2. La BIOS no consume RAM como tal, y menos 3Gb
3.Entra en la BIOS a ver cuánta RAM tienes en el sistema de verdad y mira si existe algún bloqueo.

Creo que arreglué algo similar llendo a msconfig > arranque > opciones avanzadas > cantidad max de memoria lo activas y le pones en MB lo que tengas de RAM.

Así se solucionó en un portátil HP de los nuevos, aunque voy a ciegas porq no se abre la foto que has subido
